Karuna Buddhist Vihara is a Theravada monastery dedicated to sharing the Buddha's teachings leading to a truly happy life. Our hermitage is located near Boulder Creek, CA in the redwood forest midway between the San Francisco Bay Area and Santa Cruz. Our meditation center is located in Sunnyvale, CA, where we hold most of our public programs.
All are welcome (LGBTQ+ and BIPOC friendly and open to people of all religions) to join us for meditation and Sutta Study every Wednesday night online or in person from 7:00-9:00 pm and Saturday morning online from 9:00 am to 10:30 am for meditation, Dhamma talk and discussion on "How do we apply the Dhamma to THIS!?!"
All are welcome to come-and-go as you wish, with no requirements to join at the beginning or stay for the entire program.
