For more than 2500 years, this joyful tradition has been a time to acknowledge the friendship and mutual support of monastics and the lay community. All are welcome to join us for any part of the day you can attend, online or in-person.

10:00 Preparation for Meal Offering
Vegetarian potluck
10:30 Meal Offering & Rice Pindapata
Offering rice directly into the monastics' bowls
Lunch for the lay community

Donations for the 2025 Kathina
For this year's kathina, proceeds will be directed to building the Forest Shrine Kuti, a meditation hall for the KBV Hermitage residents and guests, as well as provide for general needs of the monastery.
